On 2nd and 3d March 2019, we had guest lecture by Professor Atanu Bhattacharya from Central University. He had  talked about ELT and it's background first. He explained development of ELT and its structuralism. He had deal with Teaching language through literature and gave most important information about that. He had made the class more practical rather than theoretical.All the students have done many activities on learning literature through language,like activity on poem ,drama and novel, to find out proper word, fill  in the blanks, describe your view after watching video etc. He had describe about ESP and CLT which are the most important part of ELT. How to improve language, how to know about learners abilities to get the language, how the learner learn through Various activity in classroom, use of some practical etc were included in this session.
