Archetypal criticism which one is a type of critics theory they interprets a text by focusing on myths and symbols, images and characters types . It narrates theme , design and pattern of action. Archetypal criticism shows primordial images the psychic residue. It shows repeated pattern of experience in our ancient ancestors which he maintained. The archetypal critic emphasize the occurrences of mythical patterns in literature. Movie screening of Sense and sensibility

In our department yesterday we watch movie Sense and Sensibility which Was directed by Ang Lee . This novel originally written by Jane Austen . This novels main theme was marriage and money, appearance VS reality. Originally it is written in early 17th century. About the novel: In this movie there are present Dashwood family. Mr. Dashwood had 2 wives. He has a son which was his first wife's son and for his second wife he has three daughters. In this movie 3 sister Elinor ,Marianne and Margaret. Elinor was very much sense able and also she loves Edward but she not express it still the end . In the end she cried and express her feeling towards him. Marianne also fall in love with John Willoughby. But he left her and at last she marry with Colonel Barton . This novel present a theme about Sense and Sensibility. Analysis on I.A. Richards esaay

I.A. Richards wrote essay about a Figurative language. In this he also explain about 3 poems use of metaphors and tenors . My view on one song of bollywood which is also explain metaphors and rhymes in it. Song: suraj Hua Maddham Lyrics:Sameer and Anil Pandey Movie: Kabhi khushi Kabhi gum. Frankenstein written by Mary Shelley and the movie Frankenstein directed by Kenneth Branagh. 1)  What are some major difference between movie and novel the Frankenstein? In  novel  Henry is a friend of victor Frankenstein's since childhood while in movie Henry meets him in university. In novel Justine admits her murder even if she is innocent while in movie she is executed after a trial .  In novel at the end of novel Monster ran away from there but in movie he cremated himself with victor Frankenstein's dead body.  2) Did this movie help you in understanding the plot of novel? In this novel we can find some similarity between the character of victor  and monster. 1)Both was motherless There was absence of motherly figure in both Victor's and Monster's life. T. S. Eliot explain his view on tradition and individual talent. 1) How would you like to explain Eliot's concept of tradition?do you agree with it? Yes I am agree  with his concept of tradition. He explain that the traditions has sense of traditional and he also view it with Modern. Tradition is a living monument. He also has actually means to a positive sense.
