One night at the call center
He was traveling to Kanpur to Delhi and meet one girl who told her the story of one night at the call center. She hade made condition to Chetan Bhagat that she will tell a story if he will publish it as his second book. Chetan agree with her and she told him the story of One night at the call center.
At the beginning of the story he asked 3 questions to reader that
1.One thing I fear
2.One thing that makes me angry
3. One thing I do not like about my self.
This is a story of six person who all works in the call center,named Shyam, Varun Malhotra, Esha singh, Radhika Jha, Military Uncle and Priyanka.
Story is begun by Shyam as a narrative of the story.He lives in Gurgaon Haryana.He wakes up at the evening and became ready for going to job at connexion call center.
All the other characters were pick up by the driver of company in the Qualis.
During this shyam introduce all the characters and their life.
They all have some problem in life. In the college days of Shyam and Priyanka ,they were good friends and have relationship. They loved each other and after sometime they face break up.
In call center they behave with each other as a friend. Shyam remember his past days with Priyanka. He loves her and want to get her but he lost her now because Priyanka will marry with NRI Ganesh who was choose by her mother.
At that night they all face many problems, Priyanka gave the news of her wedding with Ganesh so Shyam become sad, Varun wants Esha but she reject his proposal, Radhika become upset because she came to know about his husband's affair with another girl, Esha reveal her secret that she slept with her client and she was rejected by him, Priyanka also face some problem by Ganesh and Military Uncle was become sad by his son and daughter-in-law .
They aslo felt torture by their boss Mr. Bakshi.
So everybody has some problem in life and to get relief from that they were gone for long drive and spend some time to out of call center.
While they were return to call center ,they face problem on road and they have no hope for survive but suddenly Esha have call of 'God' and they got the idea that how they can come out from it. The call of God is nothing but an inner voice of people,which one become helpful to change their life. They all get out from their problem and decide to teach lesson to their boss.
They reach at call center and taught lesson to their boss. At the morning Priyanka propose Shyam to marry with her and they both decided for marriage. Radhika wants to get divorce from her husband and continuing her job. Esha leave her desire to become a model and also stay at call center. Military Uncle gone with his son to US.Varoon and Shyam open their new web source company and done their work.
At last they live happily. So this is the story of whole night which I have told in very short.
At last in the train Chetan Bhagat has conversation with the girl and then they departed. But here Chetan Bhagat have confusion about the girl that she if a human being or some Divine one?
This is really an amazing novel by Chetan Bhagat. By this one can learn 4 ideas in life
1.To become intelligent
2. To have imagination
3.Have confidence on self
4. For getting success in life one should face failure because after failure one can get the value of succes.
