Robinson crusoe

Robinson Crusoe is written by Daniel Defoe. First published in 25 April 1719. In this novel the description of colonial discourse is very well described by the novelist.colonial discourse has been defined by many writers such as Diniz"colonial discourse usually years through the days of European mercantile expansion to our own time".

1. Robinson Crusoe takes place when European companies vied for control and exploitation of colonized lands around the world.crusoe the central character appears to present his imperialist spirit first when he goes to Geniea,next when he travels to Brazil and opens plantation and finally when he became king of an island. Crusoe colonized the island by building houses taking Friday as his servant after meeting him.were traveling abroad discovering new lands and spreading Christianity.They were colonizing lands and imposing their culture and language there. Robinson Crusoe is the second important work to colonial discourse the way of colonizer and the colonized are portrayed in the figures of course, Friday non white man and xury a servant of course. This is clear when Crusoe think that he is helping Friday by making him his servant. Moreover colonial terms appear when dealing with the host he mountaineers.

2. I think colonialism works in our life as very badly. Colonialism works in our life as culturally,economically, socially etc. I think that still we use english language in our daily works in our study and so many place. Whenever we also know that this language is not our language. But our mind is following british rules through this type still today.we all giving importance to thais language. Now english  take place in all over the world. We use english language in our day to day schedule. But  I think we also need to give importance to our language as sanskrit and hindi also. So we can say that colonialism still working in our life.

3. Yes there were many different between the  novel and movie. I want to show one important different that in the movie  when Crusoe's dog was died  and he stand near that grave  he told Friday that "dogs had no soul.only human have soul." How it is possible 樂. We all know that every human being and animals have soul.

So my question is  "why this movie give wrong information?"

As like this I noticed one main different between the movie and novel.

4. Yes movie is describing anti colonial elements. I think in movie and novel Friday and other  cannibals were anti colonial characters. In  film and novel Robinson Crusoe called himself as a master and he called Friday as his servant. This show also a Colonial gap between two people. There have many different between Robinson and Friday's life and work also show anti colonialism .
