Fahrenheit 451

Fahrenheit 451 is a dystopian novel by American writer Rad Bradbury first published in 1953. The novel presents a future American society where books are outlawed and "firemen" burn any that are found.The novel is divided into three parts: "The Hearth and the Salamander", "The Sieve and the Sand", and "Burning Bright".Guy  Montag is a "fireman" employed to burn the possessions of those who read outlawed books. About Novel:- The title of the novel is very symbolic. A book which will burn in the temperature of 451Fahrenheit. The protagonist Montag doing a job of Fireman and meet one day a girl Clarisse McClellan by whom he get questions of his life and his own perceived happiness. He hides books in his house and his wife forced him to burn it. One day he become ill and his boss Beatty came to meet him. He also forced him to burn his house . On 15th January in Department of English MKBU there was a talk with Dr. Jay Mehta on Mass media and communication. He had provide very informative knowledge about media and its use today. He talked about mass media's use from ancient time to modern. There was newspaper and radio were  only source  for communication in ancient time. All people have not capacity to afford newspaper daily in their house. But today all have type of facility . People are more connected with each other by the use of mass media and technology. There are major sources for communication like newspaper, radio, TV, advertisement, and internet . Newspaper is very useful for people from ancient time to modern. There is all kind of information in newspaper. It is helpful to become updated by newspaper. Most newspapers are businesses, and they pay their expenses with a mixture of  subscription revenue, newsstand  and advertising revenue. They talked about changing higher  education system. They were talked about education system in France. They gave the information about social and economical condition of France also. They said that during this time poor become more poor and rich become more rich day by day. They also speak about educational  ratio of higher education that how it is increase today. They both also talk about feminism and what is reality of education system. There is no more girls in the field of computers, technology and engineering. On 1st January 2019 ,in Department of English MKBU there was a talk with an author and translator Vishal Bhadani. He is a great translator . He give us all the information about how to translate. He also said the  myth behind  translation. He translate manier books. He translate the book 'Fictionalay' . This is a collection of short stories. In class he read some short stories. I also read some of his short stories by this book. He said that translation is also a passion. It can be your business and you can earn good money by it. Mass media is a medium to  connect  with large number of people. The communication become possible by technologies today. My favourite  mass media platform for communication is Television. Television is not only a platform of entertainment. By television people can get all information. All the news channels are helpful . There are some cultural  program' s  channels also which can be helpful for cultural information of one nation . By this one can get all the information about culture and know it perfectly.Some channels are about education on TV which can useful for getting knowledge for specific subject . These all things are also available on mobile phone now  but I like to use TV more than mobile or internet. I really like to watch TV from my childhood.
