Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy's won the oscar award. She publish a movie which in favour of women's rights . She won her first oscar . Her movie is showing to saving face which spotlit the horror of acid attack.
One writer has right whatever he/she want to write or think about present situation. He /she has right to share his/her own view on it. It depends on them that how they took the thing .
Sharmeen highlights the inequality with women . She is aware about the current situation and needed market . She also aware about women condition from ancient time to present time. She knows feminist perspective have important in present time. So she made this movie and try to change people's view towards women. She told about pakistani women her film. We have to favour of it . Not to go against it and not feeling shameful.
In India people will not able to tolerate that thing which is showing dark side of India. Writer like Arvind Adiga writes something which represent dark side of India. People raise their voice against it. One movie which was made by white person people think that they will see only bad thing of India . Then what about them who belongs from same country and also present dark side of India. For example:Shashi Tharoor.
If we feel shame eaten about some of our stories we must do something for it.
So I totally agree with this point that whatever condition we have in present time, tries to accept it and change it.we would be better served to confidently define our own priorities.
