Q1) Why are two scenes of Lulu Omitted from the movie?

Two scene of Lulu omitted from the movie because I think if director presents that scene in movie ,it will be more vulgar and absurd. Lulu in the text ,she is molested by first Stanley and then Nat Goldberg. Lulu has not good character. May be these scene have to change the perspective of viewer and main theme will be destroyed . So these two scene of Lulu omitted from movie.

Q2) Is movie successful in giving us the effect of menace? Where you able to feel the same while reading the text?

No movie is not successful on giving us the effect of menace. In movie other high volumed sound make the atmosphere disgusting. Whole movie makes atmosphere of fear and curious but there is no menace. While reading the text we have felt the effect of menace in Various scene loke when Stanley came to know about that two man who will come in house. His fear male menace in him.

Q3)Do you feel the effect of lurking danger while viewing the movie? where you able to feel the same while reading the text?

Yes in movie ,we feel the effect of lurking danger when bot man came to house and spy on Stanley. When he talked with them , this scene also create dangerous atmosphere. Whole reading the text the scene of blackout create danger.

Q4)What do you read in 'newspaper' in the movie? Petey is reading newspaper to Meg, it torn into pieces by McCain, pieces are hidden by Petey in last scene.

Generally newspaper is used to get information but on movie and text it is very symbolic. Petey read the newspaper very seriously and Meg asking him questions one by one. He answer her . They also talk about one woman who gives birth to girl child. Meg does not like girl child. Here newspaper is symbol of our curiosity which increase our desire to know about all the things which is going to around us.
When MaCain  torment the newspaper ,in movie the sound of tormenting is very disgusting. Goldberg also ask him.that why he doing this type of foolish work .
At last Petey hide piece of newspaper which symbolized to hide something..

Q5) Camera is positioned over the head of McCain when he is playing blind man's Buff and is positioned at the top with a view of room like a cage when Stanley is playing it. What interpretations can you give to inthese positioning of camera.

Moving of camera is very important in this movie. It shows the best shooting skill . In the movie While playing the game of blind man's buff MacCain play the game ,camera show him by side and his movement. He moving like the mummy of Egypte. When Stanley play the game camera focus on the top and shoot from there. The room.is looking like cage .  That scene tide him in small place and Stanley feels uncomfortable there. It present our real life that some relationship tied us with it very seriously and we can not move out from it easily and that became cage for us.

Q6) Pinter restored theatre to its basic elements: an enclosed place and unpredictable dialogue, where people are at the mercy of one another and pretence crumbles. Does this happen in the movie?

Yes, Pinter really make  that atmosphere in movie . Unpredictable dialogues inspired our curiosity that what will be next. Readers do not know the dialogue that what will be the situation but character know it. When that two man ask questions  with tormenting we can not get the idea what will be happen but they know the situation.

Q7) Ho does movie helps in better understanding of the play, with its typical characteristics like painteresque, pause, lurking danger, silence, menace?

Movie helps in better understanding the play. The situation of pause and silence is very effectively present in movie . We can see that properly. While we read the text ,we just read word 'pause' . Nothing else. Some other thing also makes lurking danger while we watch the movie. So it helps us to understanding the play.

Q8)With which of the following observation you agree.
- It probably wasn't possible to make a satisfactory film of "The Birthday Party"
- It is impossible to imagine a better film of Pinter's play than this sensitive, disturbing version directed by William Fridkin.

I am agree with second statement "It is impossible to imagine a better film of Pinter's play than this sensitive, disturbing version directed by William Fridkin" because it is not possible to make a good film on absurd play. Here Pinter tried to give perfection of movie as he wrote the play. He also be successful in creating some horror elements and create fear.

Q9) If you were a director or screenplay writer, what sort of difference would you make in the making of the movie?

If I am a screenplay writer or director ,I would like to remove vulgarity and
absurdity from movie .I will  make it more horror and terrible.

Q10) Who would be your choice of actors to play the role of characters?

As per Pinter's  movie ,all the characters are good.  They play their role properly. Do all the characters is good in their role play. I would not like to change them.
