In Bhavnagar, Maharaja krishna kumar sinhji Bhavnagar University  had organized Youth festival on 26-27-28 October 2018. This blog is a part of activity in which students has observe the events and interpret it. In this youth festival there had been so many events like One Act Play , Skit,Mono-acting, Poetry Recitation ,on- the spot Painting, Collage, cartooning, rangoli , Installation, photography etc.  I have attended events like 1]Bhajan 2]Mime 3]One act play  As per my observation When you sing bhajan you have to concentrate on your vowel and rhythm. In bhajan , there was folk songs. In those songs we can find the effect of gujarati culture and history. One boy sang a song of sati Panbai who was a great lady in history.  Aslo this song represent the great courage of Panbai . One song was "kanha ne manavo koi  mathura ma jao...." In this song we have to find the love of people for  lord Krishna. They all are ready to  do anything ...

Q1) Why are two scenes of Lulu Omitted from the movie? Two scene of Lulu omitted from the movie because I think if director presents that scene in movie ,it will be more vulgar and absurd. Lulu in the text ,she is molested by first Stanley and then Nat Goldberg. Lulu has not good character. May be these scene have to change the perspective of viewer and main theme will be destroyed . So these two scene of Lulu omitted from movie. Q2) Is movie successful in giving us the effect of menace? Where you able to feel the same while reading the text? No movie is not successful on giving us the effect of menace. In movie other high volumed sound make the atmosphere disgusting. India is  country of variation. In India all the festivals are celebrating by people very enthusiastically. In Gujarat Navratri has big importance. People are  doing worship of Devi Amba in this nine days. People  bring  one little pot of clay which is called 'ગરબો' in gujarati. They decorates it  and put it in front of Devi and enkindle it every night.  There is very beautiful history of Gujarati garba in Gujarat. Everywhere People starts preparation for this festival before fifteen days of celebration. Girls and boys prepare their tradisional dress for Navratri.  In school and college aslo they have celebration of it on one day.  Man and woman play Garba after they worship devi Amba. Some people do 9 days fast and worship devi Amba.  Everywhere ,the sound of loud music and orchestra is playing and people enjoy garba.  In every street you can find people who playing garba in  pandal. In Department of English MKBU ,our professor has given task of sunday reading. Task is interpretation on two gujrati short stories 'Intellectual Indubhai' and ' ISI no haath'. Writer wrote real events with imaginative truth. With first attempts of the story ,it creates  impression on mind that he is really Intellectual. When we read story we came to know about reality. Contemporary events Here are some contemporary events like Godhra riots, majority and minority fights, burning train etc. February is cruellest month, which present modern satire on it. In that fight Indubhai lost his house  which was burnt and his all the books which was his best part of life. After that he remember western thinkers name . In both ,there is country road ,a tree and evening. The title of the play is waiting and of painting is longing. The road and tree present the idea of barrenness. It presents meaninglessness and nothingness of life. In both the picture around that two tramps we can not find human life  and other people. ●The tree is the only important ‘thing’ in the setting.
