Thinking activity on using technology in education.


1.Why is it necessary to use Technology in Education? 

We live in Modern era. This modern age is known as digital era. All the things of modern era become digital now. In education also technology become helpful.


There is huge difference between two student, one of them is going to school with pen and paper while other is going to school with laptop, mobile phone and Tablet. By using pen and paper student can not connect with the world easily but by using technology in class students can know the world. To use of technology in education one can be able to know about the current situation and what is going on around him or her. Now technology is become habit of people. Without it this younger generation can not live. World give equal opportunity to each student.



According to Ken Robinson ,Sugata Mitra and Salman Kan 's video one can know why technology is helpful for education.lets see example ot technology's use in education.

Our prime minister have desire to make India digital.So he starts mission of digital India. By this now in India most of the colleges and schools  can get idea of using technology in education. By this student become more smart in learning activity and can connect with the world.
They learn subject through technology.


 Here are some benefits of using technology in education.

1) Technology do not do partiality. This is the platform in which all are same. It have no difference between por and rich, intelligent and fool. This is same for all. So in class also it will not make partiality and student get education  without facing race and genders problem.

2)By using technology,student learn all the things at any time,any where. There is no need of teacher,students can learn by thei own.


3)It teaches us to do work in group. By using this we van connect with each other and aslo know other country's education system in staying home. 

4)I student use different web tools in education ,it become helpful to improve LSRW  skill together. 

2.What is the difference between 'using' and 'integrating' technology? 

Using technology is differ from integration of technology. In the use of technology teacher use the technology only but in integration student and teacher both can use it. Use of technology is become for one but one can not escape from integration of technology.

Flipped learning. Here only teachers can put videos and other things , student can not. They use technology here but can not edit anything. This is one way use of technology.

3.How can we integrate technology?

For integration student can use different web tools like blog,google, wordle etc. So the teachers use technology it is called use of technology and what student use it is called integration of technology. Students learn by their own. It also become helpful to get connected with other students.

4.Can technology replace teacher? 

This is the age in which human are replaced by technology. There is so many place in which the place of human beings are taken by machine and technology. But in education , the place of teacher is can not taken by anything. May be the place of teacher will be taken by technology but there will be still missing of emotion, feelings and interaction between student and teacher. The replacement of teacher with tools ,it may gave us big challenge and it becomes harmful also.

Technology of past like printing and newspaper it is not knowing by all. But now technology becomes familiar for all. Technology become brain wash for old people but new generation find lots of new things and benefits in technology. Most of the people of 21st century do not know the world without internet. This all things become a new style to develop english language and all the things of world.
The biggest challenge for English language teacher in the time of internet is teaching language of different country. There is new experience and fastness become a variety of language. American english,Australian english etc are become challenge for teacher. British english is respectable in world. If you know this then no problem, but if you do not know then it creates many problems.
Texting is good for english language.It is studied by linguistics and also a part of it.

 This is a platform that allows students to take notes synchronized with video. In other words, students can be viewing a video on half their screen while simultaneously taking notes on the other half.



This is an innovative way to help students engage deeply with a text, as called for by the Standards. The most amazing aspect to VideoNot.es is that each note is automatically synchronized with the video (think time-stamped). When students go back to review the notes they took, all they have to do is click on a line they typed and the video jumps to that specific point.

3)podcasting 

Speaking and Listening Standards can be supported by the creation of podcasts in the classroom. Students can practice fluency, produce book reviews, record a solo on their instrument, or reflect on assignments, to name a few possible podcasting activities.

4)Thingslink

 This is a phenomenal tool that takes storytelling to a whole new level: an image or video becomes the canvas for students to create interactive media. Students start with an image as the foundation and add links to videos, content, audio, maps, and additional images to construct a multimodal story.
