ELT class by Dr. Javed Husen Khan

On 16,17 and 18 August in Department of English MKBU we have guest lecture by Dr. Javed Husen Khan. He had talk about ELT and make interaction with students.

1)key concept of ELT discussed in class

In that ELT class he taught us about  what is ELT ,how ELT if different in  school level and higher education. He discussed about ESP, EAP and other things. He also  introduce us about other  important words like Microcardial, morphology, cockeny  dialect etc. He gave the knowledge about language, inflexious, semiotics  etc how used in ELT. He also mentioned about characteristic of knowledge era,what is assessments etc.

2)Core knowledge discussed in class

Javed sir gave the information about assessment and evaluation. All the points of ELT  discussed by him , connected with each other. He said that in order to gain knowledge you should to seek it.

3)Teaching style /communication language/presentation

His english language is perfect and speaking fluently. He has very good communication skill and he has one capability that he can make the class live. He loved to communicate with youth.
He taught us  all the things with fun and we had not felt boring. He also made presentation about all the topic. He gave the information of Net/set examination,what material we should read, how one can prepare for it etc.

 4)  My learning experience

He is very good and knowledgeable person. I have got the idea about ELT  that how that is different from other,how can I explain it  in exam. He taught that if you will work hard definitely you will get succes in life ,only you have burning desire for that whatever you want. He mentioned this sentence manier time" nothing is impossible in the world". He has too much knowledge about ELT. He had made clear concept of ELT in my mind.

5)How it is helpful to you as a student in exam and as a teacher  or any profession?

Javed sir 's 3 days class will also helpful for me in examination. I can explain it properly in my exam. Concept of ELT and other things are clear in my mind. I have learnt so many new things from sir which  I also  will apply in my life. As a teacher of ELT, I think that one should have proper knowledge of it ,because only one  knowledgeable and well experienced  teacher  taught ELT perfectly.

On 6th july in our Department of English MKBU in paper of English Language Teaching we saw one movie Matilda.Matilda is main protagonist of the movie. 1) Childhood of Matilda Matilda wormwood  is very beautiful and genius girl. She live with her parents Harry and Zinnia . Her family always ignored her and did not pay attention towards her education. Her father always scold her and said that "I am smart you are dumb,I am big you are little, I am right you are wrong." Her brother Michael also mistreat her. 2) Matilda's love for books In her house she start to reading books and she got knowledge about education. She  loves to read books so she join library. She also learnt about mathematics and other subjects from  the books. Her favorite book is Moby Dick - Herman Melville. 3)About her family Matilda is being left alone at home . Her father is at work and her mother playing bingo. Her parents has no interest in education . They always scold Matilda wormwood

Desire and knowledge

"If you want it from the bottom of your heart then you will get it once.." This line shows us the power of our desire which make us capable to do what we want in our life. I had read one newspaper article some days before and it hade made great impression on me. The article has  shown me the importance of work and desire.  It was based on students hard work and knowledge in life. Chanakya  said that if you want to get success in your life then start to work on it secretly. It is said that if you have desire to do anything then no one can stop you to do that. Another thing I have learnt is that knowledge is investment which 's benefit you will get lifetime. Best example of it is to learn swimming and riding of bicycle. Once we learnt it then never will forget. This is also a knowledge which 's benefit we all get lifetime.  Really it is true because if you have great knowledge of the thing then you won't be defeated by anyone.To live a life one needs food

Mobile photography

Today,22nd December 2018 ,I visit Shishuvihar-Krishna nagar,Bhavnagar. The purpose of my visit shishuvihar  was my participation in mobile photography which was organized by Excel expression. Excel expression has organized this event since 1998. This is for inspiring students to participate in various activity. The main organizer of the Excel expression , said that they have  found less interested college students in these events. There is lot of secondary and higher secondary students who participate in various activity than collage students. So they said that they need  more students of college. The main purpose of this organization is to present student's inner talent to society and by this all get stage for their talent. At 8 :30 am in the morning,I reached on place.There were  many students who had participated in various activities.
