What is self -help book?

A self-help book is one that is written with the intention to instruct its readers on solving personal problems. The books take their name from Self-Help, an 1859 best-seller by Samuel Smiles, but are also known and classified under "self-improvement", a term that is a modernized version of self-help. Self-help books moved from a niche position to being a postmodern cultural phenomenon in the late twentieth century.

Harry Potter as self -help book:-

In Harry Potter the idea of self -help book is working manier way. When  something happen wrong there is always presence of Harry ,Ron and Hermione. This thing show the idea of self -help . Another thing is that nobody comes to save us, we have to protect ourselves by our own . In Goblet of fire when the name of Harry is came , Harry  become ready for the game and not blaming on the situation. The self help mean here to show the way for came out from the problem rather than blaming in situation. It helps us to know about self,to think about our weakness etc.
