Web quest Q 6 Children's literature

6)      Children’s Literature and Harry Potter: How far does J K Rowling transcends the canonical confines of children’s literature and claims the heights of ‘real’ literature?

Harry Potter is children book some people might suggest “children’s book” but it is doubtful that, they are right. Because Harry Potter books are appeal to many children but is children’s books really a genre of literature – apart from preschool fantasy books.

There are so many elements in novel which shows the idea of children literature like Gothic and horror element, ghost, magic, power of wand and broomstick  etc. Other things also can be included in this as a moral lesson like friendship, love, family relation etc which present the moral world with fantasy and children literature.

In children’s literature hero is generally in green shade, it means hero is childish and immature, innocent, trustworthy and undoubting. And villain is more mature.
When children are watching this movie, they only enjoyed it.
