Movie screening of Sense and sensibility
In our department yesterday we watch movie Sense and Sensibility which
Was directed by Ang Lee . This novel originally written by Jane Austen .
This novels main theme was marriage and money, appearance VS reality. Originally it is written in early 17th century.
About the novel:
In this movie there are present Dashwood family. Mr. Dashwood had 2 wives. He has a son which was his first wife's son and for his second wife he has three daughters.
In this movie 3 sister Elinor ,Marianne and Margaret. Elinor was very much sense able and also she loves Edward but she not express it still the end . In the end she cried and express her feeling towards him.
Marianne also fall in love with John Willoughby. But he left her and at last she marry with Colonel Barton .
This novel present a theme about Sense and Sensibility. Elinor presented as sense and her sister Marianne presented sensibility.
Love for money:
In this movie presents theme of Love for money. John Willoughby love Marianne but he left her and engaged with Miss Sophia Grey. so as like this is present not real feeling but only love for money.
Climax:
In this movie we felt climax when Elinor and Marianne accompany mrs. Jennings to London.when Marianne received a Curt letter and love tokens including a lock of hair and informing her of his engagement.
At last in the movie Elinor marry with Edward and Marianne marry with Colonel Barton. Movie got happy ending .
