Project on tablet using survey

During my M.A ,in Department of English MKBU,I have done one survey on the use of  table by  students. I had choose many students from various field who had got the tablet by Government. My target was a hostel and particular students who get the tablet .

My Experience:-

The experience of this survey is more bad rather than good. When I had started to do this survey I had came to know about the mentality of students for using tablets in education.

Most of them have no information that how to use Tablet for education purpose. All students used it only for entertainment and chatting.

I had started by hostel students who got the tablet in 2019 , and explain them that why I am doing this, what is my task here etc. Most of them have not gmail account and also don't know how to create it.

I had tried to convince people in my task that they may take  interest in my work but I was fail to do that and at first attempt I had got only 7 responses from students. This make me very disappointed.

Problem:-

The problem I had faced during this work was that most of the students have not interested in this type of work. Some of the students said that they had send it to their home and not using it now.There were total 3 student who send it at their home and not using this. Many of them behave rudely also and when I visit them for this, they had shut the door without listening me that what I am telling, why I am doing this .

Researcher's problem:-

By this survey I came to know about researcher's problem that how they were suffered from ignorance by people. I think that's why India's  most of the people are not interested in research work because of the disappointment and rejection by people.

Not used in Colleges:-

By this survey I came to know about the thing that in most of the colleges,teachers or professors were not allowing them to use Tablet in classroom. They are using  it only in break time or free time but not in class.
Then what is the purpose of giving the tablet to students?

Second try:-

By this disappointment I had tried again for more responses but some of them were not present at that time or some of them again not responded.

Third try:-

Then I had chosen another idea and send the form to my cousin who is professor in science college. He had sent the form to his students  who got the Tablet by Government and by this I got responses from students. This all tries shows that my Plan B was not ready so I had faced this type of problems.

At last  when sir send the link in both the class of my department, student think that they have to reply of this survey form also and they have started to give reply. In the form, there was lacking of the sentence or information that this is only for them who have got tablet by Government because my target was only for hostel survey and for particular chosen students.

Students response:-

Here the red area show that they are the students who have not get tablet. As above I mentioned that they were replying by misunderstanding.

Here 8.1% students think that the idea of tablet distribution is not good. I think they are not ready to learn the subject with technology and still want to learn with pen and paper.

Here most of the students choose  that they are using tablet for educational purpose , but when I meet  some of them , they were clearly saying that they were not use it for educational purposes then why they select firs option? This leads me to think that are  they answered truly or just for showing that they are using it for educational purposes.

In this chart ,I think this 69.4% students can learn the use of technology in class for educational purposes because their teacher allows them to use it in class. This 30.6% students will not get the information about how to use Tablet for educational purposes because their teacher don't allow it in calss.

Here this 2.7% students are still not ready for use of technology in educational purposes. Still they have desire to learn with pen and paper.

In this chart most of the students who are really like to learn  the subject with technology , they choose 1st option that they are searching more reading resources rather than other materials or videos.

Here this 73% students are ready for learn the subject with technology but this  24.3% are still in confusion that they can't say about learning with technology is helpful for students brightest future.3%are totally  agree with the point that with technology students can't learn so they choose 2nd option.

In this chart most of the students search general knowledge in their tablet and rarely goes with another option.

Here the students who choose option 1 ,they are ready to learn the subject by their own and no need of teacher. 47.2% students need  technology and teacher in class for learning.
